About Hoondert

Walcheren rubble depot

The Walcheren rubble depot is located on the Arnestein II industrial area in Middelburg. Here, rubble from building and demolition works is received and processed into certified mixed granulates, including mixed granulate 0-31.5. The location is equipped with a calibrated weighbridge.

Mobile rubble breaking

Mobile breaking installations can break different materials on location. If required, these materials can be screened down to various grades. Usually, our breakers are used to break demolition rubble into mixed granulate 0-31.5. This mix is suitable for reuse as a foundation material in the road-construction industry. Other applications for mobile breaking installations include the breaking of industrial products and raw materials.

BRL 2506 certification

In the context of the Building Materials Decree, granulates such as mixed granulate 0-31.5 must meet strict civil-engineering and environmental requirements. The while breaking process, from acceptance to delivery, is described in our BRL 2506-certified quality system.

This quality system is audited four times a year by an independent body.

In addition, the civil-engineering and environmental quality is analysed on a periodic basis by an AP04-certified laboratory. This way, when you acquire the granulate, you are assured of its high quality according to the Soil Quality Decree.
